Rosalyn J. Brockman

Rosalyn J. Brockman newly appointed Superintendent of the Hollandale School District in Hollandale, Mississippi, where she is committed to ensuring that every student has access to high-quality educational opportunities. A visionary educational leader, she believes that all students regardless of their zip code deserve the resources, support, and experiences necessary to achieve success.

With more than 14 years of experience in K–12 education, Rosalyn has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Director of Information and Technology, where she successfully led district initiatives in technology integration, data systems, and accountability.

Rosalyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rust College, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Jackson State University, an Education Specialist degree in Technology Management and Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Belhaven University.

Rosalyn's leadership centers on innovation, accountability, academic excellence, and cultivating a culture where every student, every day, and every opportunity matters. She is passionate about expanding workforce development, career and technical education, STEM opportunities, dual enrollment, and college and career readiness for students in rural communities. Her vision is to build strong partnerships with families, educators, businesses, and community stakeholders to create sustainable opportunities that prepare students for success beyond graduation.

In addition to her district leadership, Mrs. Brockman serves as an adjunct college instructor, mentoring future professionals while remaining committed to lifelong learning and educational excellence. She believes that servant leadership, integrity, and collaboration is the foundation of transformational change.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Rosalyn enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, parents, sister, and her nephew. She remains dedicated to serving her community and inspiring others through leadership, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to educational excellence.
